Question: Can I volunteer?
Answer: We love volunteers at JMCAP!  Teens are welcome if they are over the age of 16 and can lift 30-50 pounds.  All volunteers are screened.
Question: Do I qualify for services?
Answer: Among other requirements, all recipients of services must be a Fairfax County Region IV resident, meet income guidelines, have the ability to work, and actively cooperate to work at a plan to become self-sufficient. Phone our office if you wish to make an appointment.
Question: Do you have clothes for my children?
Answer: Our Career Clothes Closet receives donations for adult men and women clothes. Donations are limited to clothing appropriate for the workplace.
Question: How can I help others through this non-profit?
Answer: Service donations, cash donations, gift cards, partnerships to assist the needy, food drives, and fundraising opportunities.  All donations are tax deductible.
Question: I run out of food near the end of the month.  Can I get food?
Answer: Qualified recipients under our food program receive grocery bags of food once a week on a designated food pick-up day.  Our pantry usually has frozen meats, dairy items, breads, and other grocery items to donate weekly to our families.  An appointment is required to verify elgibility.
